IEEC Goes to Warriors vs. Trailblazers Game

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15TH! Join IEEC on November 23 to go see the Bay Area’s own Golden State Warriors take on the Portland Trailblazers! Watch the Bay Area’s star point guard, Stephen Curry, in a showdown against Oakland’s own Damien Lillard. Bring your Warrior’s jerseys and enjoy one of the most exciting teams in basketball! Cost: $30 per person (these seats usually go for up to $50!) Also, more drivers are needed and drivers who transport students will receive gas money! Come down to International Services in Salazar 1070 (across from Seawolf Services) to sign-up and pay! Make sure you bring the full $30 with you when you sign-up. Study Abroad and NSE Information Meetings are continuing! Join us!
Are you interested in studying away? It’s never to early to start thinking about and preparing for education exchange! Picture yourself in France, Hawaii, Mexico, New York, or Japan! For information on how you can have the best experience of your life, come into International Services to sign up for an Information Meeting! You can also join our Facebook event for more information. Meetings will be every week on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:00 – 2:00PM, Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:00AM, and Thursdays 11:00AM – 12:00PM. Application Workshops Begin This Week!
CSU IP Application Workshops will begin the week of October 14th and run through the middle of December. You must have attended the Information Meeting FIRST to be eligible to attend the Application Workshop. Advanced Sign-Up required. Please call (707) 664-2582 or stop by International Services to sign-up. In general workshops will be held Monday 4:00 – 5:00PM, Tuesday 3:00 – 4:00PM, Wednesday 12:00 – 1:00PM, and on certain Fridays at 12:00 – 1:00PM. Scholarship Opportunity for Students Who Want to Study Abroad to Scandinavia!

The American Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) offers fellowships (up to $23,000) and grants (up to $5,000) to individuals to pursue research or study in one or more Scandinavian country for up to one academic year. Study Away Tabling Sign-ups!

This event is for those of you who would like to volunteer to table for IEEC for a total of 4 hours (one hour per week) this Fall semester. Free coffee, tea, food, and good company! Come and join IEEC for weekly coffee and culture to meet the International, Domestic, and Exchange students! Come participate in an AWESOME tradition of carving pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns for Halloween! (What’s a Jack-O-Lantern, you ask? It’s a pumpkin carved into a scary/funny face and lit with a candle inside!)We’ll bring the pumpkins and tools, and you can carve your very own pumpkin!! After we’re done carving, we’ll light candles inside to light up the spooky or funny faces in the pumpkins! And don’t forget to put the finished pumpkins outside your door to haunt people walking by! Lagunitas Brewery Tour!

Interested in touring a brewery in California? Come on a free tour of the Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma on October 25th at 5pm! We will be meeting at the flag pole at 4pm and carpooling over there! We are looking for people to be designated drivers and gas money will be compt!
